The Raider girls track and field team competed at Lakeville South on Tuesday afternoon. We are a young team who faced some of the juggerknots in the girls track and field world. The Raiders had 2 lifetime bests and 32 season best marks within those, all four relay teams (4×1, 4×2, 4×4, 4×8) set season best marks for the team. Overall the Raiders finished 9th out of 10 teams in the section. Final team scores and results are below:

Four event groups helped score a large portion of the team’s points including the shot put throwers, pole vaulters, and distance runners in the 4×800 relay and the 3200 meter runs.
Shot Put – Alaina French 3rd (35’8.5″) & Inga Johnson 4th (34’3.75″)
Pole Vault – Erika Nesseth Tie 5th (9′) & Ani Gottfried 11th (8’6″)
3200M – Peyton Quaas 5th (12:13.22) & Anna Forbord 13th (12:41.64)
4×800 Relay – 6th (10:16.14) – Addison Enfield, Peyton Quaas, Claire Forbord, Josie Hauck
The Raider boys track and field team competed at Lakeville South on Tuesday afternoon and their performances against some very challenging competition exceeded expectations! The Raiders amassed 16 career best marks and all four relay teams (4×1, 4×2, 4×4, 4×8) set season best marks for the team. Overall the Raiders finished 6th out of 10 teams in the section. Three event groups helped score a large portion of the team’s points including the discus throwers, pole vaulters, and 800m runners.
The discus trio of Joey Schulz (4th), Toby Grawe (5th), and Haden Kelly (9th) combined to score 75 of the teams points.
The efforts of pole vaulters Stephen Feig (6th), Landon Nissen (11th), and Ben Anderson (12th) helped the team score 64 points.
68 points were added to the team’s total by 800m runners Nathan Amundson (4th), Sam Folland (9th), and Isaac Schleif (12th).
