The Northfield Raider Volleyball Team came into the Thursday Section 6AAA Semi-Final, 11-0 in the Big 9 Conference and 21-7 overall! They hosted Mound Westonka who also had a very impressive 22-5 overall record. Northfield Advances to the Section 6AAA Championship on Thursday in Waconia vs #2 seed Delano.
During the first set both teams showed lots of energy with both teams winning scrappy plays!
The Westonka Winhawks win the first set in a hard fought battle, 25-21.
The confidence of the Raider girls was immediately shown at the start of the second set and they never looked back winning 25-12. Hannah Koester surpassed 500 kills during the match!
