Raiders go 2-2 at Farmington Duals

The Northfield Raiders traveled to Farmington High School on Saturday to wrestle four duals. Northfield started things off with a close win against New London-Spicer 39-33. Four Raiders pinned their opponents: Caley Graber, Sam Harner, Jackson Barron and Ryan Kuyper. 
Next, the Raiders lost to the class AAA fifth ranked team, Hastings, by a score of 62-9. The Raiders won two matches: Zane Engels by a decision and Jackson Barron by a fall.
In their third dual of the day, the Raiders lost a close battle 40-37 to Farmington. Northfield won seven of the 14 matches with falls from Zane Engels, Colin Staab, Owen Murphy and Ryan Kuyper. Jackson Barron also won with a 10-2 major decision as well as Sam Harner with a 5-4 decision. The seventh victory came by way of forfeit to Iah Schweich.
The last dual of the day Northfield was victorious over Twin Rivers 46-27 with seven pins. Northfield started things off with four consecutive pins from Caley Graber, Caden Staab, Zane Engels and Keith Harner. Northfield also had pins from Jackson Barron, Colin Staab and Ryan Kuyper along with a major decision from Sam Harner.
 
Northfield will travel to Scott West on Thursday to wrestle the Panthers and Sibley East.
