The Northfield boys 1st game of the season was held at home on Memorial Field on a gorgeous August evening. The Farmington Tigers got on the scoreboard in the 1st half with 34 minutes remaining. Then Northfield was able to tie the game at 1 with just under 13 minutes remaining in the 1st half. Both teams played excellent defense throughout the game that eventually went into overtime. With neither teams defense breaking the game ended in a tie.
